I started blogging about fashion before I ever thought about designing it. I was just a woman with opinions about clothes and a desire to share them.
But at some point, I realized I kept designing things for myself that I couldn't find anywhere else. Pieces that felt right on my body. That gave me a certain kind of confidence I couldn't get from pulling something off a rack.
So in 2015, I launched The Line by K. Not because I had a business plan. Because I wanted other women to feel what I felt when I put on something made specifically for the female figure. Not adapted for it, not approximated, but actually designed for it.
Every piece I make comes from that same impulse. Real fabric. Real construction. Made here in Los Angeles, where I can stand behind every stitch.
